At JaArts, we carefully prepare and package our Party Boxes to ensure quality, freshness, and a great experience. Please read the refund and return policy below before placing your order.

Legal Summary (Short Version)

  • Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal after receiving their order.
  • Returns are only accepted if products are unopened, unused, and sealed.
  • Food and drink products cannot be returned once opened.
  • Customized and business orders are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
  • Damaged or incorrect orders must be reported within 48 hours.

  1. Right of Withdrawal (Herroepingsrecht – Consumers)

In accordance with Dutch and European consumer law (Article 6:230o BW), private consumers have the right to cancel their purchase within 14 calendar days after receiving the product, without stating a reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the product must:

  • Be unopened, unused, and undamaged
  • Have all original seals intact
  • Be returned in its original packaging
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase
  1. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

In line with Article 6:230p BW, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Food and beverage products once opened
  • Products with broken or removed seals
  • Customized or themed Party Boxes made according to customer specifications
  • Products intended for specific events or dates
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or discounted items (unless defective or incorrect)
  1. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

If your Party Box:

  • Arrives damaged
  • Contains defective items
  • Is incorrect or incomplete

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photos (where applicable)

If approved, JaArts will provide a replacement or refund at no additional cost.

  1. Return Procedure

To request a return, you must first contact:

If your return is approved:

  • You will receive return instructions
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error by JaArts
  1. Refunds

After receiving and inspecting the returned product, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are processed within 14 business days
  • Bank or payment provider processing times may vary
  1. Delivery, Event Dates & Responsibility

JaArts cannot be held liable for refunds or replacements due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer
  • Failed delivery attempts
  • Orders placed too close to an event date

Customers are responsible for ensuring timely ordering for their event.

  1. B2B & Corporate Orders (Zakelijke Bestellingen)

For business-to-business (B2B) and corporate orders, the following conditions apply:

  • The right of withdrawal does not apply to business purchases
  • Orders placed by companies, organizations, or freelancers acting in a professional capacity are final once confirmed
  • Customized, branded, bulk, or event-specific orders cannot be cancelled or refunded
  • Any issues with damage or incorrect delivery must be reported within 24 hours of receipt
  • Refunds or replacements for B2B orders are assessed solely at the discretion of JaArts
